The purpose of this website is so you get to understand more about the approaches and stay in direct contact with you.

You may notice that this practise is making use of alternative and modern methods of psychotherapy. The primary focus however, is on clinical hypnosis as a quick and effective way to work through problems.

It is still my primary concern to comply to the rules of the professional and ethical code of conduct as prescribed by the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).

This practice is following an eclectical approach. In other words – this is a general practice where special attention is given to all psychological problems of adults older than 15 years old.

The main focus in this practice is aimed on anxiety, like panic and anxiety attacks, stress in general, post traumatic stress, obsessions etc. These conditions are often accompanied by depression. Therefore, the focus is also aimed at depression.

Special attention is also given to addictions. Especially the addiction to cigarettes and food gets special attention. Specific attention is given to breaking free from smoking, and how to lose weight effortlessly.
Other addictions like drugs, is also a priority.

Attention is furthermore given to marriage counselling, especially to communication skills between the partners of the marriage to solve their problems.

I am a clinical psychologist in private practice for the past 13 years in Brackenfell in Cape Town.

I am holding a masters degree in Research Psychology as well as a masters degree in clinical psychology from the University of Potchefstroom.

I am furthermore a master practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming, a master practitioner of Energy Psychology, as well as a practitioner of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing).

I have also done extensive research in the field of the psycho neuro immunology, and had an international break-through in the treatment of auto immune diseases with the presentation of a paper during the International Congress of Hypnosis in Crakov, Poland in 2005.

Medical Aid tariffs are applicable. Clients without Medical Aid will come into consideration for reduced rates.
